The second book in the series was wonderful, somehow it was even better than the first which I found to be a bit long and overly wordy (yet enjoyable never the less) this left me hungry for more, what better in a continuing story line than a hook line and sinker type of feeling, reading "Death du Jour" made me crave the next book right away/5().

Death du jour is the second book of Temperence Brennan series. Temperence brennan or tempe brennan is a forensic start with tempe digging out at an old church and recovering the remaining's of the Nuns back from 18th century.4/5.

Death du Jour book. Read 24 reviews from the world's largest community for readers. Travel to Paris, where a well-executed meal may linger in the me /5. Was Death du Jour worth the listening time. No, I would rather take the time to reread the book than listen to this narrator.

Any additional comments. I honestly think the publisher should consider rerecording this with a different narrator, as this being the second book in the series it may scare off those that are listening through the series.

Forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs was the first-time crime-novelist sensation of Her acclaimed debut, Déjà Dead, made the New York Times bestseller list, won the Arthur Death du jour book Award, and was a bestseller in both Canada and Great Britain.

Like her first book, Reichs’ new novel, Death du Jour, focuses on protagonist Temperance Brennan’s forensic anthropological. Forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs exploded onto bestseller lists worldwide with her phenomenal debut novel Déjà Dead—and introduced “[a] brilliant heroine” (Glamour) in league with Patricia Cornwell’s Kay Temperance Brennan, Quebec’s director of forensic anthropology, now returns in a thrilling new investigation into the secrets of the dead/5().

DEATH DU JOUR is far and away a better book than the first, so expect it to go to the top of the charts and to firmly establish Dr. Reichs at the forefront of experts (think Robin Cook) who write fiction in their own fields. Whereas DEJA DEAD focused on Tempe Brennan's life in Montreal, DEATH DU JOUR introduces us to Tempe's sister, her.

Death du Jour lives up to its name and Kathy Reichs lives up to our expectations. This was a great Forensic book and was one of those "I Can't put it down" books. I really enjoy reading these books and think that anyone who has liked Patricia Cornwell will 5/5(5).
